GUWAHATI: Speaking to reporters Hagrama Mohilary, Party Leader of Bodoland People’s Front said that the demand for territory expansion depends on the stand of the NDFB leaders.
“Our demand for expansion of territory, new districts, sub-divisions are there in the accord. The departmental power functions at central sponsored schemes will be direct. We are demanding area extension but it remains to be seen whether we will get it or not. These things will not depend on me and the onus is now on NDFB. They have to pursue these demands and NDFB’s leaders’ stand is main in this issue of area extension,” said BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary.
