Guwahati: Shahid Kapoor, who turned 39 today, celebrated his birthday with his wife Mira Rajput and dad Pankaj Kapur in Chandigarh last night. The actor is currently shooting for his film Jersey in the city.
In the pictures and videos that went viral online from Shahid Kapoor’s birthday celebration, the actor is seen cutting the birthday cake, while Mira and Pankaj are seen clapping standing next to the birthday boy.
Earlier, Mira Rajput took to social media to wish her husband with a loved-up picture of the couple. She wrote, “Happy birthday to the love of my life.”
The actor’s brother Ishaan Khatter also shared three pictures on Shahid’s birthday. He wrote, “OG Mere #bademiya Happy budddayyyy bhaijaaaaaaan
Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani too shared adorable throwback pictures on social media to mark his special day.
Alia Bhatt, who has shared screen space with the charming actor in two of the loved movies — ‘Shaandar’ and ‘Udta Punjab’ — posted a lovely monochrome picture of the duo on Instagram.
“Happiest bday my dearest. Love love love you to the moon and back,” she captioned the post.
Kiara Advani shared a boomerang with her Kabir Singh co-star on her Instagram stories.
“Happy Birthday SK!!! You’ll always be my most special costar! Shine on my friend! Big hug from me and a pat from your Preeti. God Bless you!” he wish read.
On work front Shahid Kapoor will be next seen in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Jersey, which is the official Hindi remake of the Telugu film of the same name. The shooting of Jersey began in Chandigarh in December, last year.
