Guwahati: Bollywood latest heartthrob Kartik Aaryan has pledged of contributing 1crore to the PM- CARES Fund. The actor on Monday announced to do his bit in fighting the Coronavirus pandemic.
Karthik shared the news through his official Twitter handle and Instagram.
It is the absolute need of the hour to rise together as a Nation.
Whatever I am, whatever money I’ve earned, is only because of the people of India; and for us I am contributing Rs. 1 crore to the PM-CARES Fund.

The Pyaar ka Punchnama actor stated that, “We need each other now more than ever. Let’s show our support”.
He also mentioned that whatever he is today it is because of the people of India and for every Indian he is contributing.
Being a fresh face in the industry, Kartik has tried to do his bit in combating Coronavirus.
His Pati Patni Aur Woh co-star Bhumi Pednekar had also donated a sum of Rs. 30 lakh for the cause.
On Saturday, PM Modi urged people to contribute to PM-CARES Funds to fight against the pandemic.
After PM’s announcement stars like Akshay Kumar, Rajkumar Rao and other Bollywood celebrities and several A-lister from the south, including Rajnikant, Pawan Kalyan, Prabhas, Mahesh Babu and Ram Charan have also contributed money.
