GUWAHATI: A truck drag two pedestrians in Majgaon area of North Guwahati on Wednesday night. The incident took place after the driver of a truck loaded with LPG cylinders lost control and dragged two pedestrians while they were walking on the road.
Local people immediately rushed the injured to GNRC Hospital, Amingaon. The two injured persons have been identified as Arbin Thakur and Narayan Singh.
Both the victims were seriously injured in the accident and Arbin Thakur died at GNRC hospital, North Guwahati, while undergoing treatment.
Meanwhile, local residents called the North Guwahati Police and handed over the truck to them.
