GUWAHATI: Troops of BSF under Guwahati Frontier carried out a joint operation for destruction of illegal cultivation of ganja with Police, excise department and civil authorities in Cooch Behar of West Bengal.
The drive was carried out at Petbhatha, Sewdagudi, Bajejama, Bajejama Paschim, Belwadi Bazar, Chaudagudi and B J Jura under Dinhata police station.
During the operation, 64 patches of cultivated land consisting approximately 43000 plants of cannabis were destroyed.
