PM Modi holds mega roadshow in Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Thursday took out a mega roadshow in his Parliamentary constituency of Varanasi a day before he files his nomination from the temple town seeking a second term.

Prime Minister Modi began his roadshow by garlanding the statue of Pt Madan Mohan Malviya outside Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

The roadshow covered a distance of seven kilometres and passed through Assi, Bhadini, Sonarpura, Madanpura, Jangambadi and Godowlia before culminating at the Dashashwamedh Ghat where he will took part in Ganga Aarti.

Prime Minister Modi was showered with petals as lakhs of enthusiastic people besides top BJP and alliance party leaders accompanied him during the road show.

BJP president Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, several top party leaders, Assam Finance, Health & PWD Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, AGP president Atul Bora, NDPP leader and Nagaland chef minister Neiphieu Rio and several other alliance partner leaders accompanied Prime Minister Modi during the road show.

Prime Minister Modi will file his nomination tomorrow.
