GUWAHATI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a charge sheet against 4 accused in connection with the assassination of Arunachal Pradesh NPP MLA Tirong Aboh and 10 others on May 21, 2019.
The charge sheet has been filed against Luckin Mashangva, Jai Kishan Sharma, Yangte Josaham and Napong Jenpi.
It may be mentioned that the NPP MLA and 10 others including his son were ambushed near Pansum Thong village in Tirap district by a group of NSCN (IM) rebels.
As per NIA official release, investigation has established that members of the terrorist group of NSCN (IM) conspired to commit the terrorist act of killing of Tirong Aboh and 10 others. Investigation further established that the terrorist act was a result of larger conspiracy due to opposition by Tiron Aboh to anti-development and extortion activities of NSCN (IM) in Tirap district.
Investigation has revealed that the members of the NSCN (IM) led by Self Styled Major General Absolom of NSCN (IM) who is an absconding accused in the case had formed a terrorist group which was financed by Jai Kishan Sharma to execute the said terrorist act.
