Wellington: In the fifth and final T20 International match of bilateral series, India cricket team led by a brilliant bowling performance defeated New Zealand cricket team by 7 runs at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui on Sunday.
With this India became the first team to win a series 5-0 in T20.
Chasing 163 runs, Kiwis lost Martin Guptill and Colin Munro inside the powerplay. However, Ross Taylor and Tim Seifert put up 99-run stand for the 4th wicket to give New Zealand a chance. During the 99-run partnership, Taylor and Seifert smashed 34 runs in Shivam Dube’s over.
