Kevin Pietersen will be in Kaziranaga to shoot film on rhino poaching

Guwahati: Cricket fans and enthusiast now can get a chance to meet England’s right-handed batsman Kevin Pietersen as he is coming to India next week to shoot a film.

The former England cricketer took his twitter handle to share the news

 

According to reports, Pietersen is set to visit Kaziranga National Park to shoot a documentary film on Rhinoceros.

Earlier, the former England batsman highlighted the “poaching issue” at the Kaziranga national park. He is associated with the initiative SORAI (save our Rhino’s in Africa and India.

Pietersen has always came forward to support the cause of Rhino conservation and volunteered to help in curtailing Rhino poaching in Kaziranga National Park and other wildlife sanctuaries in India. Poaching of the one-horned rhinoceros is a major threat in Kaziranga National Park.

The Kaziranga National Park and a few other sanctuaries in Assam have around 95 percent of the total Indian Rhino in the wild. The Kaziranga National Park alone has 80 percent of the total one-horned Rhino population of the world.
