GUWAHATI: Amid speculations over BJP’s alliance for the upcoming Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) election, state BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass said that the party would finalise its decision on February 29.
“BJP will have its stake in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Our doors for new party will remain open. But the final decision will be taken on February 29,” said state BJP president Dass.
“We will keep our best to fulfil the aspirations of the people of BTR,” Dass stated.
After the signing of Bodo Peace Accord, speculations are rife whether BJP will continue its alliance with Hagrama Mohilary-led Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) or join hands with UG Brahma-led United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL).
