Breaking: Manish Tibrewal discharged from GMCH, 4 other patients discharged from MMCH

GUWAHATI: Manish Tibrewal, Guwahati’s first COVID19 patient has been discharged from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Sunday. Tibrewal has been discharged from GMCH after testing negative subsequently on April 8, 9, 17, 18 and in test conducted today. He will be kept under observation at a paying cabin at GMCH.

On the other hand, four other COVID-19 patients have been discharged from Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH) in Guwahati in the presence of Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. The released patients are— Md Mafijuddin from Boko, Jamila Khatun from Jagiroad, Ashraf Ali from South Salmara Mankachar and Md Sahrukh from Uttar Pradesh.

Out of the total 34 patients in Assam, 17 have been discharged and one died. Currently, there are 16 active COvid-19 cases in the state.
