GUWAHATI: “The people of Delhi want Narendra Modi as prime minister of India and Arvind Kejriwal as chief minister of Delhi. Those who voted AAP this time, they had voted in favour of BJP in Lok Sabha election,” said Assam BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass.
Addressing a press meet in Guwahati, Dass said that many BJP supporters had voted for Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi assembly election.
“We welcome the mandate of the people of Delhi,” said Dass.
Ranjeet Kumar Dass took part in BJP’s campaign in Delhi for almost a week. Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal also campaigned for the party.
