GUWAHATI: Guwahati has reported its first Coronavirus positive case. Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma Tweeted on Friday night that a person from Kamrup (Metro) district has been found Coronavirus positive.
According to the reports, The patient is a resident of a multi-storeyed apartment of the city and had returned from New Delhi recently. He had complained of COVID-19 symptoms and tests conducted at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) were positive.
Assam has reported a total of 24 Coronavirus positive cases so far.
