GUWAHATI: “Three factions of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) are likely to support Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) in the upcoming BTC election,” said People’s Joint Action Committee for Bodoland Movement convener Garjan Musahary.
Attending a public meeting at Bassugaon in Chirang district on Friday, Musahary said, “Dhiren Boro and Ranjan Daimary factions are with BPF. I think, Saoraigwra faction is also likely to come with BPF. BTC is progressing because of BPF. So, BPF will come to power again.”
On the other hand, NDFB leader Dhiren Boro said, “We will completely support BPF if Hagrama Mohilary accepts our conditions”
“We have decided that we will not form any political party. But we would like to work with the big political party in Bodo dominated area to impelement the accord,” Boro added.
