GUWAHATI: All the four factions of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) demanded release of NDFB leader Ranjan Daimary following his surrender at Guwahati Central Jail on Thursday.

Addressing a press meet at Mushalpur under Baksa district today, NDFB (Progressive) leader Gobinda Basumatary said, “If one of the signatories of the accord is sent to jail, the spirit to implement the accord will be dampened.”

The NDFB leaders also threatened to launch massive protests if Daimary is not released within February 25.

On the other hand, reacting to allegation of Hagrama Mohilary’s wife Seuli Mohilary against ABSU for the attack on her vehicle, Gobinda Basumatary said, “It is a political conspiracy to create troubles for the ABSU workers.”

Meanwhile, leaders of all the four factions of NDFB decided to contest upcoming BTC election together.
