GUWAHATI: As some people are still giving a deaf hearing to government’s order of a 21-day-lockdown in the wake of Coronavirus outbreak, Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that stern action would be taken against the violators.
“I have noticed some videos that in many parts of Assam life is going on as usual. I have instructed deputy commissioners (DC) and superintendent of police (SP) to take stern action against the violators,” said minister Sarma.
“I have seen a weekly market like scene at Juria. So strict action should be taken against them,” added Dr. Sarma.
