Guwahati: In a major success, the Nalbari Police on Thursday apprehended two armed, dreadful, wanted dacoits in the early hours. Following a tip-off, the Nalbari Police started its operation in the evening and finally managed to arrest notorious dacoits Nurul Ali and Jakir Hussain.
According to Assam Police, the arrested duo are involved in a number of dacoity cases in lower Assam. They are being interrogated at the Nalbari Sadar Police Station.
A made-in-Australia Glock Pistol, 5 rounds of live ammunition, 4 mobile handsets and a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle was recovered from the duo.
