GUWAHATI: Ahead of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) election, political scenario in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) is changing rapidly.
Newly appointed president of United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) Pramod Boro has indicated a possible alliance with Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) for the BTC election.
“We have not got any proposal yet. We will think over it if we get the proposal. A few days ago, BJP state president Ranjeet Kumar Das said that they are ready to forge alliance with other parties besides BPF. We welcome their approach,” Boro said at Tamulpur in Baksa district on Tuesday.
The former ABSU president alleged that present political scenario has become complex with rampant use of money and muscle power.
He also promised a corruption-free government in BTR.
